Spanish fragrance manufacturer Iberchem has announced the opening of a new facility in Ghana. Located in the capital of Accra, the new hub will initially accommodate both sales and technical staff in order to provide a closer collaboration with the company’s local clients.
“Our new office in Ghana is set to reinforce the long-term relation of the company with our clients from West Africa,” said Ramón Fernández, CEO of Iberchem. “This announcement consolidates our commitment to local customers as well as to the ones from neighbouring countries.”
The announcement underlines Iberchem’s steady growth in the region. The fragrance manufacturer has always maintained a close relation with Western Africa. The company considers that, with an increasing number of inhabitants and a prosperous economy, the continent represents a key market and a prominent player in its expansion plan.
Founded in 1985 in Spain, Iberchem is specialized in the creation of fragrances for fine fragrances, personal care, home care, fabric care and air care products. The company is now present in over 120 countries, counting on 11 manufacturing facilities and employing over 550 employees around the world.
