Dow has chosen Brazil to host their first innovation centre for Latin America. Located in Jundiaí, 60 kilometres north of São Paulo, the Latin America Inspiration Center brings together a research and development structure with the aim of becoming the group’s technology hub for sustainable and collaborative innovation in the region. The site will also facilitate collaboration with the group’s customers in Latin America.
With a total area of 9,291 m2 and 200 multidisciplinary experts, the new centre offers “high-tech laboratories” and “cutting-edge equipment”, as well as laboratories for sensory evaluation and the analysis of the performance of materials, in addition to collaborative workspaces and training facilities.
According to Dow, the new centre will focus on innovation in home care products, and toiletries, body and hair care, makeup and sun protection. The goal is to create sustainable innovations while accelerating digital transformation.
“We believe innovation starts with collaboration. We work closely with our customers to help them meet their challenges, including their sustainable transformation and the improvement of their performance and productivity,” explains Ana Claudia Rueda, Director of Research and Development and Technical Services at Dow Latin America.
